Miscellaneous papers [manuscript], 1895-1897.

The collection contains a letter, 1897 April 28, Lincoln, Neb., William Jennings Bryan to Mrs. George S. Bruce, Covington, Ky., concerning genealogical connections between the Jennings and Waters families. The collection also contains the first volume of a diary, 1895 June 19-July 24, kept by Nina Withers Halsey on a tour of Europe conducted by Dr. Robert S. Barrett. Halsey describes the crossing on the Etruria, the British Isles, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Clippings and memorabilia illustrate the volume.
